Look For The Good

In the New Year, let's resolve
 to get less stressed, upset, anxious
 about things over which we have no control.
 Lets have a narrower focus on our lives,
 loving and helping our family and friends,
 making our community a better place to live,
 to create peace and contentment.

 to pay less attention to depressing stories
 on TV, in magazines and newspapers,
 and to stop focusing on what we want
 that we haven't got,
 instead of appreciating
 the many blessings we do have.

In the New Year, let's look for the good.
 We may have to search
 through a mass of negative media,
 but the good is there,
 all around us.

My sweet fiancee surprised me with the Pearl Snowman Jewelry set for Christmas. After spending some quiet time at home, we ventured out to the Calas Parks and went ice-skating, doing all sorts of acrobatic tricks, and having good laughs.

Krampus Hunting

Today, we enjoyed exploring the DRD Sim while searching for the gifts in the Krampus Hunt. Our prize?  A giant Snowman Krampus! and a fun evening.. ;)

 

The story was somewhat dark.. but interesting!

The Apple of His Eye

December 13... A special day for Klas and I. It was on this day years ago we pledged that we would be there for each another, through good times and bad, regardless of any obstacles that might happen on our journey. Of course back then we didn't think about things outside of SL that might occur.. but that is a story for another day. My sweet Klas, of course, didn't forget our special day... and surprised me with an apple.. one he'd made himself :)

Winter Fun

Tonight we went to the Winter Holiday Village and explored their beautiful sim.

The Horse-Drawn carriage ride was super fun... 

Next we went Ice-Skating.. simply the best way to see the adorable penguins and huggable polar bears!  and we skated in perfect sync too! ;)

Christmas Proposal

So there we were, standing near the tree talking about things to do during December. having a nice visit, etc. It's been a couple of years since the last time we'd really spoke and when he messaged about a week ago, out of the blue.. and said he was back in SL..  anyway  we went and upgraded him from his 2008 ish avie (thank you to my amazing brother Ami for coming to the rescue!!) and while we're still tweaking it.. it's looking really good so far! and he's learning really fast about all things mesh.  So anyway here we are talking, just visiting really.. and then he.. 

Dropped down on one knee and proposed...   

 I'm thinking a long engagement... give us time to continue to reconnect and organize a gorgeous wedding.. Oh goodness.. please don't let me turn into a bridezilla!
